Plasma therapy, or PRP, in Punta Cana is a biostimulation procedure using the patient's own platelet-rich plasma.
A small blood sample is drawn and centrifuged to concentrate the platelets, and the resulting plasma is injected into the treatment area. Because it comes from the patient's own body, the risk of an allergic reaction is virtually non-existent.
Platelets release growth factors that stimulate tissue regeneration: on the face this improves texture, firmness and overall skin appearance; on the scalp it strengthens the follicle and supports hair-loss treatment.
